Webinar - Oct 2024 - Evaluating The New Small Ruminant Mastitis Vaccine

Recorded on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.

New research out of Spain has developed a mastitis vaccine for staph aureus for small ruminants. We discussed the elements of a successful mastitis management program, learned about the research behind the vaccine, heard from goat and sheep producers who have been putting this revolutionary tool to work in their herds, and learned of their herdside experience over the past two years. Radically reduce losses in production as well as culling due to staph aureus, always a heartbreaking decision.
