Webinar - April 2024 - Getting Acquainted with FARM ES - Climate Impact #2

Title: How You and Your Cow’s Milk Supplier Can Track and Reduce GHG Emissions: Getting Acquainted with FARM ES

Description:In partnership with the ACS Climate Impact Task Force, this is our second event in our climate impact webinar series; an opportunity to learn and share insights on what our industry’s climate impact is today. Led by Nicole Ayache, Chief Sustainability Officer of National Milk Producers Federation, this webinar provided a brief background on the development of FARM ES including what was the impetus to start it, why is it administered by NMPF, how was/is it funded, and who is it for. We also discussed an overview of how the program works: what information is collected, how it gets turned into GHG emissions, the role of the Certified Evaluator, the best practices resources that are available to help guide decisions around GHG emissions mitigation, as well as the enhancements that are expected to roll out later this year. Finally, we discussed the data policy and provide a tutorial on how to get started.
